"We expect the same profitability this year. We are aiming to be able to handle orders worth billions. Few companies that start from scratch like us will be able to do that," emphasized Václav Stehno, CEO of the technology and construction concern THIERRA.

Group expansion

"We don't want to unnecessarily sell work out of the holding. We have the ambition to become one of the leaders in the delivery of buildings as a whole. This is also what we are aiming for thanks to the recent acquisition of an armoury that will supply concrete reinforcement. This will soon become part of the Group," informed Václav Stehno. Thanks to the new production plant, his company will be able to cover another part of the construction process on its own without suppliers. In July, THIERRA plans to establish its own monolith division to support the further development of the company.

Projects in the Czech Republic and abroad

As a general contractor, THIERRA has carried out many projects in the past year. Among the largest ones are the Pekárenský dvůr and Starý Pivovar residences in Brno, where they are building more than four hundred apartments and a number of commercial premises for DOMOPLAN. THIERRA is also building over three hundred apartments in cooperation with DOMOPLAN in Brandýs nad Labem-Staré Boleslav as part of the Na Mariánské cesta residence.

ALGLAS, a member of the Group and a specialist in lightweight envelopes, is also involved in major projects. Recently completed projects include, for example, the block façade on the Bratislava office building LakeSide 02 or the technologically very demanding reconstruction of the Winternitz Mills in Pardubice, where ALGLAS contributed with its precise work to the restoration of an important architectural monument designed by architect Josef Gočár.
